This article describes the steps for creating a bootable USB Flash to install it with Windows XP using the utility WinSetupFromUSB. Program WinSetupFromUSB automates the process of installation on the flash drive or USB-HDD various Live-CD assemblies and operating systems, using the loader Grub4dos with a choice of several options for downloading. For example, you create a bootable Flash Kingston 1Gb with the ability to install it with Windows XP.
Warning Some antivirus programs can respond to the files and setup.ex_ setup_dbg.ex_ (Exploit.Win32.IMG-WMF) included in the program. This false positives, in the assembly of viruses not.
Make sure that the flash is not what you need, as will be made formatting the USB drive.Start the, choose from the list of detected removable media flash or USB-HDD on which we write the installation files

Here you need to label the disk and file system, FAT16, FAT32 or NTFS. Format the flash to NTFS. This will slightly increase the speed of reading files in text mode install (for some flash possible reverse effect of slowing down)
Click OK, the program will warn you that the disk will be formatted, all existing partitions will be removed and new ones.
Next few reaffirm the program. Click on OK.
After creating the partition Bootice close and return to the main window. We put a flag in front of Windows 2000/XP/2003 Setup and select the directory with pre-unpacked way Windows XP.

After booting from the flash, you'll see a boot menu Grub4Dos, in which you want to chooseWindows 2000/XP/2003 Setup, and then First part of Windows XP Professional SP3 setup from partion 0.After the first phase of the installation and reboot again to boot from a flash and now select Second part of 2000/XP/2003 setup / Boot first internal hard diskIf we do not set as the installer will lose the location of installation files on the flash and the installation will end with an error.
